A Pantera begins to take shape in one of the welding jigs. The large framework to the right of the factory worker is there to make the door and windshield openings the correct shape. Since the Pantera is a steel monocoque structure with the front fenders welded on, the door openings must be the correct size before the body is welded together. In this view it appears that none of the exterior sheet metal has been fitted yet.
